State Parks In SC And NC

Another info for the park recreation lovers… hiking, camping, picnicking, bicycling, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, etc.

South Carolina State Parks (http://southcarolinaparks.com/)
List of parks, events, hiking areas, and camping reservations.

From there, you can find a lot of info about the parks including the admission/general info/camping/lodging/activities/programs/maps, etc. I like to use the park finder for the parks (http://southcarolinaparks.com/park-finder/park_locator.aspx)

Click Camp on the top of the home page, you'll find a lot of info about camping such as registration, fees, etc

I've been to following parks and like a lot:
Paris Mountain State Park
Table Rock State Park
Caesars Head State Park/ Mountain Bridge Wilderness Area
Hickory Knob State Resort Park
Lake Wateree State Recreation Area
Edisto Beach State Park

Among those parks, Table Rock, Caesars Head, and Paris Mountain are my favorite including camping.

North Carolina State Parks (http://www.ncparks.gov/)
Welcome to North Carolina state parks. The NC Division of Parks and Recreation website provides information about and services of the state parks system and …

NC parks are very nice too… but just a little far away from Columbia SC and needs more time to drive.

Hope you enjoy!! Let me know if you need more info or have any questions.
